WATERPROOFING SERVICES

During construction, we conduct on-site construction phase inspections and testing to validate that waterproofing systems are installed in accordance with approved designs, product specifications, relevant Australian Standards, and the National Construction Code (NCC).


By combining design consultation with construction phase inspections, we provide informed advice on the compliance of waterproofing systems, ensuring adherence to the NCC and applicable standards, including AS 3740:2021 and AS 4654:2012, to achieve durable and compliant outcomes.

  • Test windows, facades, and building elements for water penetration.
     
  • Ensure waterproofing complies with Australian Standards, including terminations, heights, and water-stop angles.
     
  • Flood surfaces to detect leaks through controlled water testing.
     
  • Measure waterproof membrane thickness accurately without causing damage using ultrasonic testing.
     
  • Detect pinholes and breaches in non-conductive membranes with electronic leak detection (ELD).
     
  • Verify the bond of waterproofing systems to substrates with targeted adhesion testing.
     
  • Assess concrete and other surfaces for moisture, imperfections, and drainage before membrane application.
     
  • Confirm proper welding of sheet membranes by probing all seams for breaches.
